The ASEAN Children's Festival is taking place in Vietnam for the first time. The gala night for ASEAN children will be broadcast live on VTV1 at 20h10 on June 1st.
The event is jointly organized by Vietnam Television, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ASEAN countries’ embassies in Vietnam, the Cooperation and Development Fund, and Phuong Dong Communications and Culture Joint Stock Company.
It offers opportunities for ASEAN children to interact and to learn about the culture of international friends.
During the event, children from seven ASEAN countries attend a puppet show at the Central Puppet Theatre, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, take part in folk games, and experience Vietnamese family life through a home stay program.
The festival will run until June 2nd.
