Ngoc Vung Island in Van Don District possesses amazing landscape. In recent years, it has been changing into an attractive tourist destination.
Ngoc Vung has been long known for not only untouched beauty but also its impressive name. Legend says that in the old days pearls brightly shined a corner of the sky so the area got that name. Nowadays, pearl cultivation in particular and marine economy in general brings a source of income to locals.

If you have more time, you should head for open sea. Starting at ancient Cong Yen Port, a sea trip leads you to beautiful Ha Mai and Van Canh Islands. Catching fish and shrimps is another must-try experience for tourists. Local unique culinary is a plus point to win tourists’ hearts. Seafood is fresh while native dishes, for example sweet potato porridge, dried fish, fish hotpot, and little shrimp salad, are deliocus.
