In response to Vietnam Book Day on Apr 21 and World Book and Copyright Day on Apr 23, Quang Ninh Library organized a number of activities themed “ Reading culture intergrates digital life”.
Accordingly, the activities consist of displaying and exhibiting 2,000 documents themed “Book - Knowledge, innovation and integration in the digital age”, organizing the online quiz “learning about Covid 19 - repelling disesase”, collecting and receiving books funded by organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to donate libraries and bookcases in remote, mountainous areas and islands, participating in an oratorial contest for a typical work about Quang Ninh province etc.
Through the above-mentioned meaningful activities, Vietnam Book Day is a good chance to honor the value of books and reading culture, thus encouraging to turn reading movement into a habit and outstanding cultural feature in the whole society.
