Attending the workshop, there were representatives of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh and Da Nang; the Quang Ninh Tourism Association and more than 30 tourism enterprises of Quang Ninh and Da Nang.
Many tourism enterprises of Quang Ninh and Da Nang are interested in tourism cooperation and development between the two provinces.
At the workshop, Deputy director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism – Mr. Trinh Dang Thanh warmly welcomed the delegation to Ha Long. He has then introduced to the delegation about tourism potentials and strengths of Quang Ninh, and especially tourism centers which are potential for future cooperation.
Representatives of the major travel agents of Da Nang, namely Danatour Travel Company, Vitours Tourism, Viet Da… are especially interested in enterprises who are running tourist boats on Ha Long Bay, unique tourism products of Ha Long bay and favorable conditions for Da Nang tourism enterprises to bring tourists to Quang Ninh.
At the end of the workshop, representatives of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the two provinces agreed to consider and report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism regarding tourism cooperation potential between the two provinces.
Before attending the workshop, during their visit to Ha Long Bay, the Da Nang Tourism Farm-trip delegation has visited and surveyed tours in Bai Chay Tourism Complex and in the centre of Ha Long city.
