On Oct. 9, in Ha Long city, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Business Day (October 13th), the Quang Ninh Association of small and medium enterprises has held a workshop on "Vietnam’s Economy in 2012-challenges and solutions for the enterprises".
At the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Chung, Deputy Head of Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) has made a brief introduction about the Vietnam’s Economy in the first 9 month of the year 2012 as well as the current difficulties of the national economy in general and enterprises in particular.
Chung also indicated both objective and subjective causes of the difficulties; at the same time he has proposed a number of solutions to overcome challenges of the enterprises, including improving effectiveness, productiveness and competitive capacity, creating new productive capacity, mobilizing and redistributing small-scaled resources...
The workshop is an occasion for the enterprises to meet, exchange and share experiences with each other, aiming at overcoming current obstacles, maintaining production and promoting development.
