During the 3-day-National Day vacation, Quang Ninh received around 86,000 tourist arrivals, including over 19,000 international arrivals, up 25 percent in comparision with the same period last year. The total revenue was around VND 170 billion.
Despite the heavy rain on the National Independence Day, Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 30,000 tourist arrivals, including over 12,000 international arrivals.
On this occasion, tourist attractions and entertainment spots in Ha Long city allured a great amount of visitors. For instance, the Quang Ninh Museum greated over 7,000 tourist arrivals, seeing a rise of 10 percent against last year. Notably, only on Sep. 2, around 4,000 tourists visited the museum.
Greating around 300,000 arrivals, the Sun World Ha Long park was also one of the most-wanted destinations for visitors during the holiday. Van Don, Minh Chau and Quan Lan were still attractive sea and island tourism spots that served around 10,000 arrivals on this occasion.
