Malaysian media strongly reflects Prime Minister's visit to Vietnam
Many major Malaysian newspapers have boldly reported on Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob's visit to Vietnam, affirming that the visit will contribute to promoting bilateral cooperation in many fields.
Articles published in News Straits Times and The Star, prestigious daily newspapers with a large readership in Malaysia, emphasized that Prime Minister Ismail received a warm and friendly welcome from his Vietnamese counterpart and leaders, reflecting the traditional and friendly relationship between the two Southeast Asian neighbours.
Malaysia's leading news agencies and newspapers have affirmed that the visit of the head of the Malaysian government to Vietnam will help strengthen bilateral relations in many fields.
BERNAMA news agency, The Star, Free Malaysia Online and MalayMail have published many articles about Prime Minister Ismail Sabri's working schedule in Vietnam, including the exchange of cooperation documents between the two countries.
According to the articles, under the witness of the two Prime Ministers, Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah and Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son exchanged letters of intent on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries. BERNAMA news agency and major newspapers in Malaysia also quoted the statement of Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, in which he highly appreciated the warm welcome of senior leaders and people of Vietnam to him personally and the high-level Malaysian delegation, and stressed that his first visit to the neighbouring country will contribute to further strengthening the multifaceted relations between the two countries.
At the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob paid an official visit to Vietnam from March 20-22. This was Mr. Ismail Sabri's first visit to Vietnam since taking office in August 2021.
