Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Van Thang meets Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to China

On August 20, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang had a courtesy reception to the Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nguyen Sao Mai, before he leaves Vietnam for taking charge of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to China.

At the reception, Quang Ninh's Chairman Nguyen Van Thang made a brief introduction of the province's outstanding results in cooperation activities and relationship with China's localities in recent years.

Quang Ninh's Chairman hoped that in the upcoming time, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to China would introduce Quang Ninh localities and provinces of China, helping to foster the relationship between Quang Ninh and those localities.

Mr. Nguyen Sao Mai, in turn, congratulated Quang Ninh on its achievements in socio-economic development and foreign affairs over the years. He then strongly affirmed that as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to China, he will do all his best to promote the strategic cooperation between China and Vietnam in general and between Quang Ninh and the Chinese localities in particular.
